Antje Urquhart - Holistic Therapies and Stress Management in Glasgow and Paisley

About Me

About Me

I have been interested in alternative and complementary therapies since my teenage years.
After a short career as a benefits officer in my native Germany I worked for many years in hospitality after moving to Britain.
I was attuned to Reiki I in 2005. This was my catalyst to finally make complementary therapies my profession. I attended Cardonald College, Glasgow, first in 2006 to study holistic therapies, then the following year to study Stress Management. Since then I have added to my qualifications regularly.
I have been providing treatments professionally since 2007, slowly building my private practice of many repeat clients at the Harvest Clinic and providing mobile therapies. I also provide therapies for  Tranquil Lifestyle Centre at Cardonald College regularly.
I have been a member of the FHT Federation of Holistic Therapists since Student years.
My qualifications include:

VTCT level 3 in Holistic Therapies (includes Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Aromatherapy)
VTCT level 3 Diploma in Non-Medical Nutritional Advice
VTCT level 3 Diploma in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards
further VTCT qualifications in Advanced Massage and Holistic facial massage
all taken as part of the Holistic Therapies Course at Cardonald College
VTCT level 3 Diploma in Using Therapy Techniques as an Aid to Stress Management
VTCT level 3 Diploma in Indian Head Massage
VTCT level 3 Diploma in Understanding the Healthcare Environment for Providers of Complementary Therapies
all taken as part of the Stress Management Course at Cardonald College
further qualifications at Cardonald College:
Anatomy and Physiology, Mental Health First Aid, Thermal Auricular Therapy (Ear Candling) and Reiki II
Reiki III (Master/Teacher) with Angela Trainer of the Harvest Clinic
Dorn Method with Jacqui Hamer of Dorn Method Academy UK in Lancashire
In my free time I enjoy hill walking, reading, running and spending time with family and friends.
